Clelland “Gil” Gilchrist has led the development and transformation of New Beginnings at Waverly into one of the premier professional treatment centers in Minnesota. Here Gil shares his thoughts on what this opportunity has meant to him:

New Beginnings at Waverly definitely does have a legacy of caring and expertise. Nearly 30 years ago, I drove into the beautiful grounds of New Beginnings overlooking Lake Waverly for the first time. I was comforted with a sense of peace within me. I knew that this was a serene place for helping and healing those who struggle with chemical dependency. Our dedicated and devoted staff at New Beginnings treats each patient with dignity and respect. They support them through the difficult tasks of facing the real problems in their lives.

I have had the opportunity over the years to meet so many wonderful people that have passed through our doors. I feel blessed to be able to watch the transformation of our patients lives and see the miracles that occur daily. My life has truly been touched in so many ways by the people that have been a part of this company and by those we have treated. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve you and I will continue to devote my life to helping those with chemical dependency problems.
